Confidential & Sensitive Searches

Search execution designed for replacements, undisclosed hires, and situations where exposure creates risk.

When confidentiality matters

Not every hire can be made publicly. In senior M&A and Private Equity contexts, visibility often creates unnecessary risk.

We execute searches where discretion is a requirement, not a preference.

Typical scenarios

  • Replacement of an incumbent without disruption
  • Pre-deal or post-deal team buildouts
  • Strategic hires not yet approved internally
  • Founder, Partner, or senior leadership succession
  • Situations where signalling intent would harm negotiations
Process

Masked search execution

A structured approach that allows candidates to engage without premature disclosure — and clients to assess fit before exposure.

1. Anonymous outreach

Candidates are approached with a high-level role description — no firm name, no identifying detail.

2. Qualification and preparation

We assess motivation, capability, and constraints before anything is shared with the client.

3. Client-side screening

The client reviews anonymised profiles and decides who to progress.

4. Controlled disclosure

Only once a candidate agrees to interview are identities revealed. NDAs can be used where required.

Selective shortlists

We do not send volume. Typical shortlists are 5–10 candidates who are already calibrated for role, level, and context.

Candidate control

Candidates never enter a process unknowingly. Nothing is shared without explicit consent at each step.

Reputation-first execution

In small, senior markets, trust compounds. We operate accordingly — quietly and deliberately.

Next step

Handle sensitive hires without noise

If exposure creates risk, we design the process around discretion from day one.
